Josh Groom is an award-winning director, editor and photographer based in Sydney, Australia. A 2007 graduate of AFTRS, Josh has directed music videos for artists including Angus & Julia Stone ('Babylon' and 'Just a Boy'), Birds of Tokyo ('Wild Eyed Boy') and The Snowdroppers ('White Dress'). In 2008 he won the IF award for Best Music Video (2008) and has received nominations for ARIA and J awards.

Josh has edited 'Top Gear: Australia' for SBS, 'Music Max: Coldplay' for Channel V, 'The Great Australian Doorstep,' 'The Beer Factor' for Channel Nine and 'On The Edge' for the ABC. In 2012, he produced, shot and directed and cut 'Chained to the Desk,' the behind the scenes documentary on recent Aussie splatter film, 'Redd Inc.' ( 'Inhuman Resources' )

Josh has been photographing live music for Drum Media since January 2011, shooting countless bands in that time, including The Foo Fighters, Metallica, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Soundgarden and many more...
